Rasmus Transmission Trouble

My 1976 Rasmus has the original MD21A Volvo enigne in it with the Borg Warner transmission. The transmission does not have an access plate on the top of it so I assume it is not adjustable. The tranny slips when in forward...the freuency between slippage and engagement is becoming more frequent.Does anyone have a source for parts to rebuild this transmission? Any other suggestions aside from repowering.Thanks in advance!Brian

transmission problems

i have just come home from a trip from caribien, i had the same problem, my gear oil leaked from the transmission into the engien, i changed the seal in the transmission and that was the problem, you dont need to take out the engien, push the axel back and the motor all the way to the front. it took about 6 houres to change. good vind. ole
