Ranger 12 Sail Batten question

Does anyone have a good photo or description of what the sail battens look like or are made of for the R-12?

I’m trying to see if the person I got the bait from can locate them. The boat was her fathers so she doesn’t know what they looked like…

if they were lost, I need to figure out new battens

Fifty years ago, battens were often made using thin slices of wood. They had their issues to include splinters and swelling when wet..

Nowadays, in the 21st century, you'll find that battens are made of fiberglass. Your sail pockets will determine length and number.
