Does anyone know what is the best glue to install external rainshields?

What's a "rain shield"? Are you referring to the windows in a dodger?

That is the formal name by the manufacturer. It is a hood that is installed outside of the hatches - will try to get a picture.

Bubble-like devices that go outside of the opening port- to keep rain out. Like the ones on car windows, sort of.

Looking to find one for my boat. Thinking of using 1/2 inch 3M VHB tape left over from the fixed portlights. Five yard rolls are available from Amazon.
