I'm wanting to order a motor mount that will attach to the railing of my 2003 Hunter 306. I wont have access to the boat until April so can anyone tell me the size of the railing? I'm thinking its 7/8" but not certain. Thanks for the help

I would bet on 1". best way is mic it, just in case they substituted stock during the stainless steel embargo of 2002. If you don't have a set of verniers, clamp a square piece of something to the side of your combo square and slide the head along the blade like calipers. Not as accurate of course, but it will tell you what you have.
I would bet on 1" as well but I would hold off buying anything until someone with the same model chimes in. Or you could buy one from the store on this site and be sure that it's correct.
I'd also bet it is one inch but if you use this kind it won't matter because it fits 7/8 and 1".
