I'm installing a radar dome to our Hunter 33. I've only seen them mounted on the mast and I was wondering if they are ever mounted off the back of the arch on a self-leveling mount. If it ever needed serviced it would be easier and if the mast needed pulled, the cable would'nt be a problem. Any suggestions?

Stern mast kit

There is a mast kit for most instalations. Just be sure you get the radar well above eye height for all locations on the boat.
