Radar on 35.5

I would like to mount a radar on a pole in the cockpit of the 35.5 (not on the mast or backstay). Has anyone tried this? Where is the best place to put the pole? Also where is the best place to mount the display so that it can be seen by someone other than the helmsperson?

Radar Placement

I placed my Radar Dome on an Edson pole 0n the starboard side of the rear (outboard) cockpit; it required a small aluminum foot. The screen was mounted on a braket attached to the binacle. You have to be behind rhe wheel to see it. That is the only place I could put it other than down below where it would not be visible to the helmsman.
