Radar Installation Furuno 1715 Mast Bracket/Stern Post

Hi Ken and all

I am installing a Furuno 1715 Radar this winter. Would appreciate any tips,
drawings of stern posts or mast brackets.

Steve you lucky thing... That make & model is on my wanna list. I would be
interested in a follow up post on degree of difficulty to install and a
report on how well it works/you like it etc. Did you see the post re: Gull
poop?

Hi Mate

I chose the Furuno as most people say that teh Furuno is the best company
for making Radar Systems. At the boatshow the 6123 was £699 whilst the 1715
was only £799 so that is why I chose it. Seems a better screen and the
little bit of extra power will come in handy.

Hope this helps. I bought the Radar from Cactus Navigation in the UK. I am
sure they still have them in stock and can export quite easily.
