I am interested in installing a radar chart plotter at the helm of 351. I am sure someone has figured out a good solution. I hate the idea of having the radar below decks. Thanks for any help.
I have my radar,autohelm and chartplotter repeater in a pod at my helm, works great , only have to go below to reset the chartplotter now and then, the combination of all three work very well in the fog.
I recently installed a radar/chart plotter at the helm of my Oceanis 321 and love it. I had to purchase an offset pedestal guard and an instrument pod for the monitor. The location is great and the easy of use makes you want to use it.
