I was thinking of replacing my Racor Model 110A with a new Racor Model 120A fuel filter. The reason is that the Racor 120A has a plastic see thru bowl with a drain. The 110A has a metal bowl only. The 120A has a max fuel filter pressure of 7 psi and the 100A has a pressure rating of 100 psi. I assume the pressure rating is because of the metal bowl. Other than the plastic bowl and the pressure rating the filters are identical.I don't think the rated difference in presure is a problem but I wanted to get an opinion. Im pretty sure there is no positive pressure in the filter since it is on the suction side of the fuel system.BTY I searched the archives and did not find anything regarding filter pressure ratings.I also heard that the plastic bowls rot and only last a few years. Does anyone have this experience?ThanksGeorges/v Windswept _/)
