Racing Vega's?

Does anyone race the Albin Vega 27 in PHRF?
I see that the ratings are between 240 (Calif) and (246 New Eng.)

I have been racing my Vega out of the Vallejo Yacht club, unsuccessfully. My
rating is 244. I don't know how much of the problem is the boat, and how
much is my not knowing how to play the currents in San Francisco Bay.

Yes, I race on Great South Bay, Long Island, using a 236 PHRF handicap
assigned by the Great South Bay Cruising Club.
