Greg Koski (sp?) at Doyle Cleveland

Greg is my sailmaker, and I recommend him highly. I'm a cruiser, but Greg has a large following of successful racers from several fleets around Cleveland, and does quite well racing himself. I am most impressed by his willingness to listen to my vision and ideas, to visit our '77 h27, and understand its rig, and then to recommend cost effective solutions. Lady Lillie now sails 1 to 1.5 knots faster with 5 degrees less heel thanks to her new sails. I recommend that you interview several sailmakers in your area, and find a sailmaker you like. At the same time, develop a sail spec that the different lofts can price so that you can keep some pricing pressure on them. Then pick your man and go with him. I can call Greg with sail, trim, or rigging questions any time, and get an answer that fits my needs and boat. That's the joy of having a good sailmaker. David Lady Lillie

Full Roach Main

I am just now updating my sail inventory in preparation for racing this spring. John Bartlett is the sailmaker around here, and he is making me a full raoch main. It will have approx 33% more area, and does not effect the PHRF rating. dora@scottcarpenter.net
