Hi all,
Wanderer has made it to the River Tay and sits on her mooring nicely.
Next up is getting ready to race in the 25th anniversary East Coast Sailing Week this year being hosted at the club I'm a member of. My question to the forum is does anyone have a handicap number for the H37c?
Thanks

After several years, here's what I found.

Out west in the SanFran area, they are as a general rule, about 180, and I've seen a couple of hits when someone takes off the staysail boom and goes with a 135% jib. On the east coast, the rating is generally 178. There is a 3 second boost for having the shoal draft keel (4'10") versus the 5'4" (?) keel. If there's no other h37c's racing, and you need a little help, appeal to the local PHRF committee and see if they can give you a break to help even things out, after all, they can always hit ya later.
