I wanted to find out how people have done racing a catalina 270 in club races. Would love to talk to some one here, via email, etc. My email is in the members list by searching little or tva sailor. I currently race an ODAy 272 and want to buy and start racing a Catalina 270. The Oday does well, but would like the creature comforts of the 270. I have a 150 genoa on the Oday and was wondering if I could put a 150 on the Catalina 270. Saw a boat for sale which listed a 150 and they indicated you could rig to the track on top of the coach house. However, I was worried that track would be too short.
