Raced my H-36

It has been a few years since I raced my H-36 and I kind of thought my sails
we’re old and worn out but they talked me into the Golden Conch in Charlotte Harbor.
I raced against a 42,39,36 and guess what got 3rd place.

We raced Saturday and the wind was real good but not having raced for 3 years and had some problems with my reefing and furling lines slipping and bad starts at the line but by Sunday
we got everything better and sundays race helped get 3rd place.
Most of the boats I raced against race all year long with the same crew but when I did race 3 years ago I only race 3 Regatta’s per year so my old Inmast sails did pretty good against boats with new fancy sails.
I do a lot of cruising and keeps me from racing more.
