We still have a couple of older IOR boats from the 80's that still fly bloopers in Bayfield. Back in the day, boats threw all this nylon up and headed DDW, and stayed out of each others way. Nowadays these boats will put one up if they think they are going to be left alone. With newer boats gybing on hot angles, having to quickly gybe to stay clear is a blooper skippers nightmare.Bloopers living history? Here's one from a Off Soundings Club regatta of a few years ago.
