WOW! What a nice forecast weekend too.:clap:
Wind 10 knts S to SE. Sunny mid 70's. Bring you "outta cave" sunscreen. Is there a in-boat spectator spot to anchor or watch?

yes you can anchor out in the bay ...they will be a little more intense this year on safety and the cg aux will be on there toes due to last years outcome so use your pdf's or at least be in compliance just in case

Always a hoot! I have crewed in a few of those over the years. My brother kept a Pearson 303 at Turner Marine. His wife used to race powder puff and I was her deck hand while he raced with some real racers. Lots of fun.

Woody, I notice the CG Survey in the literature is very different from the depths reported on the official NOAA chart. Chart says 4 1/2 feet in the channel.. survey says a good 7 feet, especially the NE side of the channel .. Maybe they've recently dredged it..

have not checked but i will find out for you ...i crossed the ships channel last saturday and saw depths of up to 47 ft .....we have had exceptionally high water in the bay for the last week or so but we have also had a lot of southwinds making it higher than normal

VERY happy to see them spin this back up, after they year they've had. Well done RC!

I did raise an eyebrow on your quote about it being the 'longest point-to-point' races in the USA, as I've done many much longer.... But after reading the site they are claiming the 'largest'; not sure what that really means but I'm willing to let them run with it!
