Hey Scott
Scott, did enjoy the wine, and thank you a bunch. Drank if the night we got south of 30N,which also happens to coincide with the Fla. line. Had a wonderful trip back. From Sandy Hook to Cape May was pretty darn cold, and the Chesapeake could have been a little kinder. Blew out the jib, but at the time I knew I had too much sail on, but was having too much fun to take any off. We were about 10 degrees off dead down wind, the boat was surfing down the face of the waves and I was loving it. And a front caught us about half way across the Gulf and beat us up a little but other wise was a hell of a good trip. Kind of proud of myself as I only managed to run aground twice. Really love the boat. It is fairly fast for a non racer, a little tender but not bad, and ROOMY. It is really surprising how much more space there is than my 28. Hopefully next winter will see us in the Carribean, down around Belize somewhere. Plans were to have done it sooner, but Katrina changed a lot of plans.
