Below is our RC boat. A pontoon boat we picked up for a few grand. The "extra' Bimini is from the previous RC pontoon boat, which met an early demise due to a J-24 smacking into it.

On the Hudson River there is a group of 6 yacht clubs which each year host PHRF Regattas. A circuit I guess. HRYRA.ORG I think.
Serious racers will compete in all of them, for the OVERALL championship. Benefit of being on a river I guess.
