Friends I was saddened to notice today on facebook that one of our members here, Bob Akins has passed away. He went by "Bonzai" here and on many sailing forums. We talked boats online a few times, and he always invited my wife and I to go sailing if we were ever passing thru Georgia - unfortunately the timing never worked out. I think he was looking forward to his first passage to the Bahamas this winter and the trip was postponed when he fell ill in January. May he rest in peace.
