It does, but no automatic transfer switch. This will require Fred to install switches and develop an UNDERSTANDING of how boat electricity works, both AC and DC.

Fred, you can't do this without manual switching and you MUST learn how to do so. You CANNOT have two sources of AC present at the same time.
Of course. But first he needs to understand what he has, what he wants, and then what he needs to get there. Also he could use an automatic transfer switch instead of a manual one.

Thank you, yes I do need a transfer switch, just didn’t know what is was called, ow where do I find one?
Fred, I do not know what you know or don't know, and/or how well you '"present" that in writing. Because I am concerned about both your safety and level of understanding of boat electrical systems and equipment, I am deliberately assuming you know little.

For example, in response to this post of yours, you do NOT need a transfer switch UNLESS you have any single receptacle or device that can be powered by two AC sources at the same time.

So, if you wired the AC output of your existing inverter to a brand new receptacle dedicated to only your coffee maker and that receptacle was NOT connected to your existing AC boat system (i.e., two different plugs near your coffee machine, one that used inverter power and the existing one that used shorepower), you would not need a transfer switch.

By "transfer switch" it is meant a 30 AMP relay that will select the source of AC, either when you manually turn on a switch to energize the relay coil, or when you turn on the inverter it's AC will energize the relay coil and connect the boat's outlets to the inverter output. A different set of this relay contact should disconnect the AC connected to the boats charger.
Fred, if you need a wiring diagram, PM me.
It can be simpler than this. No need for a $300 automatic relay - just a $25 manual transfer switch like this: ac cross over switch

If all I wanted was an outlet for a coffee pot, I'd just install one and wire it directly to the inverter. If I wanted to power the entire AC panel off the inverter, I'd get a transfer switch like the above.

Hello Stu
Thank you for the reply
To start answering some of your questions, I do have a good (but not expert) level of knowledge about electricity, both A/C and D/C
As far as how. Present myself in writing, I must admit that at this moment I am not the best, extreme tiredness.
I just never had to install an inverter before to the main system.
I have wired inverters before but only as stand alone units.
I just feel it redundant to have to add a plug with all the wiring just for that, the run would be long for nothing, I would like to be able to just use the existing plugs, the inverter is only a few feet from the panel, and as a bonus it would be easier for my wife.
As an added bonus, being plugged on the inverter our friend who had sleep apnea would be able to sleep over and bring his machine

Not to confuse the issue but...

Are you sure you dont have a 120VAC outlet in your Galley area?

Mine were installed in a place hard to locate. Next to sinks, it would have a GFIC type reset on it.

Jim...

PS: I have 10 on my H430

I would be sure to confirm the sleep apnea machine doesn’t require a Pure Sine Wave inverter. The Xantrax you have is Modified Sine Wave, and while it would be fine for a coffee pot, it may damage other electrical devices

I have been using a mechanical rotary switch like colemj posted for several years. It transfers all outlets to inverter use when #3 is selected. #1 selects shore power and #2 selects all ac off. Works great..

I just received my transfer switch.
Will be installing soon.
Also worked on my electrical panel redesign.
I might work on placement of components again, let me know what you all think so far.

the contour lines are the cut out lines, this part will be hinged to open it and work on it

edit:
I see the picture’s line are pretty light, I will redraw them with a sharpie and repost the picture

There are a multitude of 12v coffee makers on the market....That'a the simple solution...
