Let me say from the outset I am grateful for all the info I have gotten from this site. This is my first full year with my C-30 and I continually discover how little I know about a larger boat and all thre systems. With that sais here are a few questions I hope people can answer or shed some light on. 1) I have the M3-20 Universal and it runs very cool, 120-130 degrees. At that temp I get no hot water. I'm in the process of changing the thermostat and hope that solves the problem, but any other thoughts?? 2) I am also looking at changing the head faucet. This weekend I checked it out and discovered that you cannot see what is holding the faucet down onto the countertop. By feel it appears to be a triangular piece of plastic. To gain visibility it looks like the sink should be removed, but then thats a project in itself. Any hints on changing this out?? As always thanks!!

M3-20 Running temp

Have the same engine in my C28. I put too much coolant in the fresh water cooling header tank, and found it had the effect of dropping running temp too far - in my case, to about 130 -135F. I just let out some of the coolant/water mix and topped up with plain water. After a couple of tries at that, she's back to a consistent 160 - 165. But don't ask me what the right ratio is!
