Second Post - first time disappeared??? Had the chance to fly my first aysmetrical spinnaker this weekend and have a few first timer questions. When trying to raise the sock (ATN) the sail kept bunching up and stopped the sock from continuing up. Had to lower and raise and shake to get the sock all the way up. Any suggestions how to keep this from happening? Once out sailing, reaching we put up the sail. Winds were 120 degs at 6kts true over the port, apparent were 90 deg at 11kts. What does this mean? Yo, Don are you listening? What else can I do to improve this setup. Dumb me I wasn't watching the speed before and after setting the spinnaker to see what the difference was. Next time.... Bringing down the sail was very easy though different, Wife turned more down wind and I released the tack. Joan came up front with me to see how the sail is brought down. Wow was that exciting, then pulled the sock down and stored it. Jim S/V Java
