Question re Shore Power Circuit Breaker

I have a 2006 Hunter 38. I fried the Line 1 shore power circuit breaker and need to replace it. Does anyone know if it is a 30 amp or a 50 amp breaker? I found the replacement breaker on this site (see picture), but I don't know whether to get the 30 or 50 amp breaker. Also, I removed the panel and the 2 small screws that appear to hold the breaker to the panel, but the circuit breaker didn't want to separate from the panel, and I didn't want to force it for fear of breaking something. Is there a trick to separating the breaker from the panel?

No, but if you post photos of what you're working with, we may be able to help.

Most likely it is a 30a circuit breaker, check your shore power connection to be certain. 30a require 10 ga wire. If. you have 8 ga then it is a 50 amp breaker.

Unlike house wiring the both the hot and neutral need circuit protection. The breaker should be a double pole breaker. Like the one below.

Some breakers attach to a common bar on the panel, it will be necessary to disconnect both the feed wire and the connection to the bar. Otherwise, the breaker should just pop off. You might try some gentle prying to encourage it. There is no reason to use and adhesive to hold it on. Of course that doesn't mean some PO didn't use an adhesive.

There are 2 - 30amp breakers for shore power.

1) In the panel
2) Within 10 inches FEET from Power Plug. Normal found in the lazaret. [Thank you very much! @kappykaplan ]

You should change both at same time.

I had similar issues working on the tight fit, panel breakers.
We had to unscrew the breaker, and the wires of adjacent beakers. then Wiggle the target breaker.

The far more important question here is "what fried the breaker". Breakers don't usually fry. Do you have an electrical problem aboard ?

If it looks like the breaker in your photo, then you may have to remove 4 screws.
