Hi- The rudder on my '95 h26 cracked beyond repair at the end of last year and I'm seriosly considering replacing it with the Idasailor rudder I read about here. I tried to search the archives but got an error regarding the 2003 archives. I'd love to hear from anyone with experience with this new rudder. How does it work? Has anyone tried it on a 26 as opposed to a 260? Do the 26 and 260 have the same rudder, or can the Idasailor be adapted to the 26? Any info from the folks with experience is appreciated. Thanks...

Idasailor and hunter rudders
Gerard: Sometimes Hunter will replace your rudder for free because they had many problems with the rudders made by I think Foss Foam. I any case it is worth checking out with hunter and Foss Foam. If not then I definately check out the Idasailor.com rudders as they are lifetime guaranteed and they are better balanced a improve the boat handling quite a biut compared to the original rudders.
