I'm thinking of replacing my standing rigging and would like to do the work myself to save money. Also to save money I'm gonna try to leave the stick up and would like to avoid having to take a piece off measure it and put it back on while I wait for the rigging order to come in only to have to take off and put on again. Here, finally is the question. I have the owner manual supplied rigging dimensions but I am confused. For example the foresay is listed as 43'10" but in the block above it has a diagram and list the dimension 21". What does all this mean? is 21" the length of the turnbuckle assembly or what? If it is the turnbuckle how is that measured. Do I get a turnbuckle with that dimension as its maximum or minimum length or maybe its mean length.I'm looking at going with Norseman fittings. Any experience with these. A boat yard told me that these swageless fittings are too thick and will not fit at the spreaders and mast head fittings due to the clearance between the mast and the tang. Any advice.ThanksTim
