question for anyone that has redone their toilet..

Hi all,

This weekend I pulled most of my toilet hardware out of the boat.
One question I have is about the wooden rails that the sink slides along.

I removed the screws holding this, but the rails still don't want to budge. They seem glued. Is this the case? Is there any good way of removing these rails without damaging the wood on the side walls?

Same story on the two pieces of support wood that holds the toilet floor. I want to lower the toilet about two inches.
