Question about Vega # 1200

Greetings all.
In looking at all your lovely pictures something about Vega # 1200
caught my eye. Sorry, I don't know her name or her owner but anyway
she's got an engine the like of which I haven't seen on any other Vega.
What the heck is that thing? Is that one of the original petrol
engines? It's the smallest thing I've seen in one of these boats and
it rather suits my notion of workspace around the engine.
Please advise?

Hi Andy

That is a photo of the original Albin Petrol Engine. Still quite a few Vegas
about with this engine, especially in Scandanavia but getting fewer and
fewer as time goes on. Spares are available from Fors Marin in Sweden.
