I have purchased a mainsheet upgrade kit (new pullys) to replace the original mainsheet system on my H30. The new mainsheet will route up the boom to the mast and then to the cabin top and back to the cockpit. My question is should I mount the pully at the front of the boom on the mast or on the boom? Does it make a difference? The current mainsheet pully mount points are attached to the boom by long bolts that go all the way through the boom. If I choose a boom mount, should I try to duplicate this type of mounting? Any ideas, experience, and thoughts are appreciated!
