Question about restoring grab rails

Apparently my grab rails are made from multiple pieces. The "feet" were screwed onto the rail using bronze screws. When I reattach them to the rail, should I also glue them in place? Would like to hear some qualified opinions. Thanks.

Glue with epoxy or any water proof glue. I'm sure your origonal was glued but the glue line dissolved after many years of sun and moisture.

Scrub the hell out of the joining surfaces with acetone to remove as much teak oil as possible before gluing.
