I'm going south to Cabo on the Baja HaHa this fall. The old conventional wisdom is to not trust ANY drinking water (or for that matter ice in drinks) in Mexico, unless its bottled or (if ice) packaged. But then I hear that most of the communities in Baja use the reverse osmosis process to get their fresh water, which would seem to me to be foolproof at eliminating the bugs that bring on "Montezuma's Revenge".So what's the scoop? Can you trust the fresh water provided by the locals in Baja or no?
