I have a Mariner 36 cruiser and consider myself a very good sailor and master craftsman in cabinets, construction and boat work. I have what someone will undoubtedly think is a stupid idea (and perhaps for good reason???).I've done a lot of plumbing, commercial and residential and had occaision to use PVC,cpvc, copper, cast iron etc., however, I've never seen 'hard' plastic plumbing on a boat. I've only seen hoses which taste bad, collaps etc..My question is:Why not use PVC or cpvc plumbing on a boat??? (well strapped of course)It would elliminate a lot of inherant problems on a boat. I wouldn't use it on thrugh-hull plumbing for obvious reasons, however, for fresh water, why not? And waste?Too much vibration?Won't make it in the long run?Thanx in advance(not too smart to ask)Jake
