I have a West Marine HP310 (about 5-7 years old now). Anyway, about 5 years ago when she was very new, I caught the port stern on a sharp rock and created a pinhole leak in the seam. We tried everything including multiple patches and shipping her off to the group West Marine uses to repair their dinks. No joy … still had a slow leak in the stern below the water line.
Then a buddy suggested buying "Fix a Flat". For $15 bucks I gave it a try and amazingly the leak is gone. I was careful to leave her inflated for about 4 days before deflating to reduce the risk of the insides sticking together but so far … so good.
I thought I'd share in case others are struggling with this same issue.
