400 amp hours. The boat lists to the port side a little I suspect it's the battery weight.
great on the vynal reinstall!
thanks

I would like to add a couple more questions please.
boat has 2 new agm batteries. The boat actually lists to the port side a touch. Can one of those monsters be moved to starboard?
the leak on the rear stateroom against the stern has lifted the vinal covering. Can that be removed cleaned up or do I need to find some of that vinal to be replaced?.
thanks again
Hmm haven’t experienced the list you describe. The boat came with 2 4D batteries (one in the port settee forward of the Bose subwoofer, and the second below the sole near the nav station). In that same compartment there is a starting battery - a group 27. The batteries below the floor are pretty much on the center line so it would seem unlikely they would contribute to a list.

As to the leak you really need to find the source. as I mentioned earlier there is a panel in the floor of the cockpit that is not terribly difficult to remove. There are several screws including in the transoms. Take Those out and the panel slides out the back of the boat. Under the panel is the rudder post and the arm for the autopilot. There is a rubber boot that seals the arm to prevent water entry into the stern locker space. That boot may be leaking. Be sure to apply sealant when you reinstall the screws otherwise they will leak.
If the leak isn’t there it’s possible it the pedestal and pedestal guard and those may need re sealing.

3. in the aft cabin leak from steering access fix?.
On our 2005 H38 owner version there were 2 causes of water intrusion in the ceiling of the aft owners cabin.
1. In the cockpit floor is a removable panel just behind the wheel. On our version this was attached to the underlying deck with 4 ordinary wood screws and some silicone was applied. It was leaking because of shoddy design and shoddy installation.
2. In the cockpit you have the shower panel on starboard. This is installed right above the mattress of the owners bunk. The connexion hot and cold is by direct connecting the 15mm PEX tubing to the shower manifold. This creates a lot of tension in the tubing resulting in leakage at the plastic manifold inlet. Our mattress was sooked several times before I installed the shower manifold somewhere else.
