My apologies if this has already been shared here. It was irresistible, such a great moment captured on video!

As seen on Mashable.

The dog belonged to a family who was on a passenger ferry when the dog fell overboard. The ferry captain refused to circle back for the dog - how cruel, assuming that is true.

Hats off to RYCC Savoia's sailors who spotted and rescued the dog!

From the Mashable post linked above:

An Italian family was reunited with its beloved puppy after the dog fell overboard and disappeared.

Sailors with RYCC Savoia, a yacht club based in Naples, Italy, rescued the shaken labrador puppy, named Noodle, when it was found swimming alone in the Gulf of Naples on Oct. 24.

I was surprised the dog was not even breathing hard and looked like he could have swam to shore on his own. Kudos for these sailors.
