Hi, Peggie,I have a haunted holding tank! The outlet fitting goes to a PVC Y fitting, and from there one branch goes to the deck fitting and the other to the macerator pump (factory setup). Sometimes the pumpout goes fine; other times I am unable to get anything out from either the macerator or the deck fitting. When this happens (while using the macerator pump) the sounds of the pump are those of having liquid in it, not the high-pitched sound that is normally heard at the end of a normal pumpout when the tank is empty. There is a "gurgling" sound coming from the tank, and lots of air bubbles can be seen in the water near the pumpout through-hull. I though I had found the problem, as the hose connection between the tank and the Y-fitting had several seperations in its wall with blisters, and I thought that the inner lining of the hose was collapsing under suction and obstructing the flow. After I changed this piece of pipe to a good white hose, it was OK for a few tries, but is bacf to its old intermittant ways again. any ideas? Thanks.
