Just bought a 1988 C36 and the pump to empty fridge is not working. How do I get to it? To repair or replace. Does the pump empty overboard or into the bilge? If into the bilge can it be made (easily) to empty overboard?
what do you mean not working? you must open the galley sink seacock first and then the pump should empty overboard then, close the seacock. have you done this?
check under the stove. If there is a wooden storage shelf then remove it and you can reach the pump to replace it. In my 36, I removed the pump and just drain and water from the frig into the bilge.
