The Galley Whale Gusher Mk3 Pump was leaking. It is a foot pump which pumps water out of the icebox and discharges it out to the sea water in my 1988 C30 MkII Sailboat. I bought the service kit from a local marine store off the shelf. It contains all the seals and diaphrams. When I open it up the clamping cup was broken also. A plaster cup with a heavy spring inside, pushed out the hole bottom of the plaster cup(poor design). Called the Whale gusher company, they would not sell any individual parts. I would have to buy a piston kit with that part in it. I would have to order it from a marine store, they do not sell to the general public. I ordered it from one of three stores I called. I'm waiting, they all said it would be two to three week turn around period from that company. It has to be a better way of doing business. Marine stores only stocked the one service kit and there is several kits for this pump.
