I recently replaced my fresh water pump because I believed it was on its way out. The primary symptom was that when any one of the faucets was in use, the pump would pulsate rather than run continuously as it had previously done. I took that for a clue that the pressure switch was failing. However, the new pump is doing the same thing! The new pump's switch is rated at 35PSI. Could it be that there is an obstruction somewhere in the lines that is pushing back on the pump and causing it to cycle?
