Pulling Wire

Hunter 310 Poulsbo
I need help figuring out how to route some wire. I have had my 1998 Hunter 310 for about 8 months and finally installed a Garmin Echomap 50s GPS today on the pedestal. No issues with the installation.

The boat came with an old garmin fishfinder and transducer (installed above the companionway). I want to route the transducer wire from where it goes into the old fishfinder and run it into the pedestal so I can use the new unit to as the fishfinder and decommission the old one. I know I will need an adapter. My problem is actually running the wire. I can't for the life of me figure out a way to get there.

I have never undertaken a job like this and am at a loss for figuring out the best way to move the wire from above the companionway door, to under the cockpit floor and up the pedestal. I thought it would be a fairly simple job, but in reality, I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK and not really sure how your 310 is figured but maybe I can help,I have run
wires on 2 Hunters a 2001 290 and lots of wiring on my now 2007 H-36.
Should not be too hard unless you are talking about the fiberglass hood over
where the companionway top slides into and not sure your if yours is the same as mine.
But is the transducer in the hull type in front of the keel and if so you need to
follow from the transducer the wire and trace where it goes to the old fishfinder.
Also are you sure the old transducer will work with the new one.
I have also only worked with raymarine and just recently added new transducers and ran the wires from the main DC/AC panel along the port side into a already installed PVC pipe to the stern and up to the helm.

The pedestal is identical. The transducer is just forward of the post. I can easily run the wire from there alongside other wires in the bilge. Once I get to the motor, I cannot figure out how to get under it, and to the aft cabin. Once I am under the aft cabin I am home free, as I can get it up and around to the pedestal.

How do I run the wire under the motor?

Again, the help is most appreciated.
