Today was the day to pull the sticks and move Oh Joy into the boathouse. She looks funny bare.

The main is huge and heavy. It took four healthy young men to carry to the barrels.

I've never seen the masthead from this angle, interesting...

It was a tight fit. She's supposed to be 38'4" LOA but she's actually 40'.

I think I'm gonna like having her in here.

She's knocking at the door.

Cool pictures, looks cool there, wasn't it just in the 100's out that way?

Not much room for ladders and planks in there but at least it is dry. looks like the boomkin added the extra length.

Lucky guy being able to work inside. She is already gorgeous, can't wait to see the end result. I wish that I had that much energy.

Yeah, it was 106F exactly two weeks ago and 68F today.

There's actually a bit more room around her than it seems. I have a minimum of three feet per side at her widest point. That picture from aft was taken standing on the platform that runs around the stern.

Working inside is effectively doubling my yard rent but I have to do it to be able to pull the decking and not worry about the liquid part of our sunshine....
