Hi, Our family has just become the proud owners of a Daysailer...that is going to need a lot of care from us over the winter before we put her in the water. Does anybody out there know of a company in the Puget Sound area that does ODay rigging...without charging an arm and a leg? We need to refurb the mast....both the standing and the running rigging. Thanks, Jim Conchie PS. You can email me directly at jimconchie@hotmail.com

Rigging

Jim - With very rare exceptions rigging shops will do most makes of boats. The best bet is to take exisiting rigging to a competent shop and ask them to reproduce it. They may suggest upgrading your shroud adjusters to turnbuckles if that hasn't been done before. If so, its a godd idea. I don't have a favorite Puget Sound rigger but I'd start by opening the phone book and calling a sailing club or school. They ought to know who does decent work without requiring a limb in payment.
