The State has limited opening of the Puget Sound waters.

Waggoner's has an updated link on the website. You can find the marinas that are open and what services they are providing.

They also have a list of the Washington Boating Guidelines....

San Juan County facilities are still closed to outsider. Some of the issues include the difficulty to get food to the island.

The World is getting tired of holding still. Like a pulling horse in the traces, better to stand back when the ring hits the hook or a driver could lose a limb.

Sorry, didn't have a good sailing metaphor. Maybe something about popping the shoot.

Had an AMEE flotilla meeting yesterday on Belle-Vie. Present were Tom Burgess (Evening Star, Dana 24), Colin Banks (Wassail, Pacific Seacraft 34) and me (Belle-Vie, Hunter Passage 42). Skipper here served up lunch, first consisting of deviled eggs topped with anchovy wrapped caper, then soft taco roll ups filled with beef, lettuce, tomato, cream cheese, pimento spread and Swiss cheese. Fruit salad followed consisting of a can of drained fruit cocktail, sliced banana and cool whip mixed in. Beverage included lemonade raspberry juice flavored with vodka. Ended with a dessert of dark assorted chocolates.

During the meeting we discussed a number of cruising options depending upon whether the border opens:

1. Cruising to Roy Olmstead's bootlegging drop off locations during prohibition.

2. Finding locations and investigating Safeway succulents.

3. South Sound cruise. Poulsbo is the furtherest south Belle-Vie has been.

Finished up by watching the 2018 cruise that we did together. All in all a very productive meeting.

Terry. You can get it at pretty much any bar in Everett. Just tell the bar tender when asked, ‘What will you have?’ You know, I’ll have the “Regular”!

Can I join your flotilla?
