If you can find one

A very good and inexpensive waterway guide, is Skipper Bobs. Not sure it is still in print, and may be hard to find. I have done the east coast twice using it. Tons of anchorages listed, along with marinas, and places to avoid. Highly recommend this book.

When you clear the C and D canal message me and head for Havre de Grace or Perryville. Can get you a dry bed and hot shower and laundry. There is a grocery store on the water front in HdeG.

I second the motion on the Skipper Bob's. We've used it extensively. We've seen it for sale in several marinas or you could try skipperbob.net

Enjoy,

Mary

In addition to Skipper Bobs, we like Doyle's On the Water Chartguides. If you like them on Facebook, you'll see updates. You can also get on their email list for updates. Their website shows sample pages. http://www.onthewaterchartguides.com/
