PSS system

Question: How long is a PSS system good for?
I installled one 10 years ago and have not had any problems. Today I was reading the literature and it says the bellows should be replaced at a minimum of 6 years. Does anyone have any experience with failure due to age and if only the bellows needs to be replaced has anyone seen a kit for that or do you have to replace the entire unit?

Six years ago, when my boat had 1000+ hours and was ten years old, I called them. They recommended a bellows change at ten years. The carbon disk was NOT recommended for replacement unless inspection showed damage. I replaced the bellows and saved it as a back up. There was no evidence of any deterioration whatsoever.

PS: I now have over 2000 hours.
