My apologies, all. I have removed my reply to Russ in San Diego and also removed the thread of folks skewering me for posting it. Sometimes it is tempting to participate in the discussion as a site user, which I did this morning. But ultimately, there is no way to separate myself from site policy. Site policy dictates that you guys sort this out -- not me or anyone else on the admin side of things. To impose an editorial point of view on a discussion is wrong, unless it violates site policy which Russ' post clearly does not. I will still see what I can find out about this incident on Monday. Again, my apologies to Russ, and for distracting the discussion. ph.

I have used PSS on previous boats with complete satisfaction. I had a marina install one on my Hunter Legend 37 and had problems with leaks. Turns out they tightened the hose clamps that seal to the stern tube too tight and cut into the PSS rubber seal. PSS sold me a new part at half price, even though the problem was not theirs, and everything is OK. I love PSS shaft seals! and the company!
