I recently purchased a PS37 and am looking for some recommendations regarding a dingy. The canoe stern does not seem particularly suited to hanging a dingy on davits, so I am inclined to think that some sort of on-deck dingy arrangment would be best when not towing the dingy on short hauls. Any experiences/recommendations you are willing to share would be appreciated.

PS37 Dingy Options - we've tried this

In the past we have put a 10 foot inflatable on the foredeck between the mast and staysail. This is a tight fit and think that for a transit of any significant duration I would totally deflate it, roll it up and lash it to the coach top. Ever tried to pump up and inflatable and install the floor on the bow of a 37' boat? Not a pretty sight - but then who ever said cruising was going to be easy. My real problem is lowering a 9.9 HP outboard from the stern down into the dingy and mounting it onto the transom. There needs to be a better way!!
