My 426 came with out a prosafe galvanic momnitor isolator system - it was hull #1 and just didn't get on. They were great and sent me the device (5 parts!) and the dealer is prepared to install it. Here is the problem, the install guys tell me that they are somtimes more trouble than they are worth and that in fact Hunter is going to quit puting them on newer boats next year. Any input is appreciated. I have the parts but am hesitant to install unless there is a good reason to, or just leave it alone if there is a reason to leave well enough alone. The literature leads you to think it is a good thing - but all I can figure is that it tells you there is a bad ground - although part of the device is called a "zink saver". Any clear explanation of what this thing does and what is just hype by the manufacturer would be appreciated. Ed
