Can anyone tell me what the proper size trailer is for a 222?I bought a 1985 222 that came with a questionable trailer. Was curious as to what size (length, GVWR, etc) the 222's came with. Thanks,David
Also a single axle Zieman trailer and has 15" steel rims but is painted. With a tongue that can extend about 5 foot you can extend the amount you want to back down the ramp. The surge brakes makes for very easy stopping. 3500 lbs is the trailer capacity and our boat tows very well.. There is a definite advantage to towing with tandem axles though. I think the boat rides smother and follows the tow vehicle much nicer. Down side more resistance with four tires running on the ground.. If I needed a trailer I would look at a tandem axle model with smaller tires and rims. With this, should you back down the ramp to far and your wheels drop off the concrete slab, you have the second axle on the slab to pull yourself back up. Just my oPYnion.Sail fastLive slow
