I have a fixed 3 bladed prop on my hunter and want to change it to a folding prop. What was the stock prop on the Hunter 30? Could I get away with a 14x14 or would that be too big? Has anyone put a folding prop on the stock hunter with a YSE12 in it? I have searched the archives and there are as many answers as there are posts, but surely for a particular hull, engine and transmission there is only one size!

Folding prop size

O2, when I bought my martec 2 blader, I called them and let them fit it for me. Flex O.. whoever you want. Get expert advice. Biggest thing about these props is when you go to forward gear they clunk.. clunk. It will be worth your time. Cheers

Our engine is to small

I am afraid the power plants in our boats are too small. I received the follow anwer to my search for a prop for my YSM12 for my 1979 Hunter 30'. "Thank you for your email, and your interest in the Kiwi Feather propeller. Unfortunately the smallest diameter Kiwi Fearther Propeller is a 15" and we require a minimum of 15HP for this prop."
