Propeller Size for a 1980 Catalina 30 (Atomic 4)

I need to replace the prop on my 1980 Catalina 30. The engine is an Atomic 4. Does anybody know which part number I should ask for? West Marine was asking me for pitch, etc., and I hadn't a clue.Fair Winds,s/v Bixby

Try Moyer Marine at this link: http://www.moyermarine.com/accesskits.htmlYou can also try the catalina tech rep. They have the size for an A4 at 13x7. I have a 75 Catalina 30 with an A4 and I believe a 14x7 prop with a 1 inch shaft. Good luck.

prop size is 12inch,7degree pitch,right hand rotation,1 inch shaft

We have found that a 12x6 allows the engine to spin at higher RPM thus providing more speed. We used to have a 12x7 and when we changed to a 12x6 we picked up 1/2 a knot.
